For the 56th consecutive year, the Tic-Tac-Toe World Championship game ended in a tie. The championship match ended as pointlessly as every other tic-tac-toe game as Hector "The X-Man" Estrada placed his X in the top middle square, ensuring that he and his opponent would split the $12 grand prize.

What drama! Glad I wasn't aware or I would've been mesmerized.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell if this is a joking post or not.
ReplyDeleteThis post is in fact a joke. To my knowledge, there is no Tic-Tac-Toe World Championship, which is surely a positive thing. I was hoping the "X-Man" joke and the premise that the pot for winning the tic-tac-toe world championship would be just $45 would give away the fact that this is not true. Though surely if there were a tic-tac-toe world championship--as anyone who has ever played it knows--it would end in a tie.
ReplyDeleteYou have to quit sounding so believeable in your blog. You tend to sucker a few of us in from time to time.
ReplyDeleteShould've known better on April Fool's Day!
ReplyDeleteCan you please write a blog demanding that the Bears get Jay Cutler. If we add on signing Orlando Pace to this trade our O-line will be solid enough with Chris Williams moving to right tackle. The Bears already have a very good running back, a good TE, and Hester could actually be a threat to defenses since he will have someone who can actually throw a deep ball (which would make Forte and Olsen even better). These two moves could give us the best offenses in the division and our defense, which has started looking worse over the last couple of years, might get a lot better simply from not being on the field the whole game. 4 days til baseball starts, get one quick Bears blog in.
