I watched most of the Packers-Vikings game last night, and here's how the announcing went:
"Brett Favre passes deep down the right sideline for Brett Favre, and it's caught for a Brett Favre touchdown!"
"Run off the left edge by Brett Favre, and he breaks free after a great block by Brett Favre!"
"I didn't know love until I saw Brett Favre play football."
Jeesh.
I'm not going to sound foolish by saying Brett Favre sucks, or that he doesn't deserve praise for his ability and accomplishments. But you'd have thought he was the only guy on the field. It never ends! "He's a legend, he's unbelievable, his performances are literally beyond what the human mind can conceive." The worst part is, the Vikings have two more primetime games in Weeks 15 and 16 (unless NBC "flexes" them into any additional Sunday night games).
The Vikings looked good all around on Monday night, and joined the Giants, Colts, Broncos and Saints at 4-0. And if the Packers don't do something about their offensive line (Rodgers was sacked eight times last night), they're not going anywhere.

I watched the game for about 2 minutes ... all I heard was "Brett this and Brett that". Left the room. The next morning all the sports shows were "all Brett, all the time". Click....
